A key port  facility  in  Taicang  currently  lacks  real-time  monitoring  equipment  at  critical  water treatment  and  reuse  stations,  hindering  timely  data  collection.  To  address  this,  the  city  is implementing an online water quality monitoring system. This initiative will enable continuous monitoring  of  water  quality  fluctuations,  safeguard  local  water  supply  for  residents  and businesses,  and  provide  scientific  data  for  government  decision-making.  Ultimately,  these efforts will drive sustainable development and environmental protection.

This project is an important environmental protection and water resources management project. In order to effectively monitor the water quality, the project adopts 3 water quality online monitoring equipment, and the monitoring factors include temperature, pH value, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, COD, ammonia nitrogen, SS, in order to meet the needs of real-time monitoring and analysis of water quality.

The above construction content, the water quality online monitoring project can not only achieve the real-time monitoring and analysis of water quality multi-parameter, improve the efficiency and accuracy of water quality monitoring, but also help to find and  solve water quality problems in time, provide strong support for the environmental protection work of a wharf in Taicang City.

 

Construction Requirements

Water quality online monitoring equipment includes the following functions:

  • Record the basic information of the wastewater treatment plant, upload monitoring reports, key data, and attachments.
  • Provide online water quality data query and statistical functions:
  • Based on the actual management requirements of the wharf, set reasonable thresholds for water quality monitoring indicators, establish a water quality monitoring and early warning feedback mechanism, and ensure that the effluent quality of the sewage treatment plant meets the standards.
